Carmen Mendoza holds a PhD in Economics and Business Administration (UAM). Her Thesis “Portfolio Management of Life Insurance Companies” obtained an extraordinary mention. She holds a degree in Business Administration and Actuary from the Complutense University of Madrid. She is also a professor at the Bank of Spain and at several Business Schools. She is co-author of books such as “Gestión Patrimonial y Banca Privada”. She has participated in seven research projects and several conferences. She is currently working on sustainable finance, specifically on the relationship between investment in renewable energies and the performance of companies in the market. Carmen’s vision is that the financial system can contribute to the achievement of environmental goals.
