On April 3 and 4, the VIII Financial Economics Workshop of ACEDE (Scientific Association of Economics and Business Management) was held at the Palacio del Conde Luna (León), an annual meeting that brings together researchers from all over Spain to share advances in the field of financial economics.
The event, organized by Mayte Gascón, from the University of León, and co-organized by Nuria Suárez, member of the FIMEGO research group, brought together 38 researchers, who presented work in progress and actively participated in debates on the most current lines of the discipline.
Among the most relevant moments was the opening conference given by Félix J. López-Iturriaga, who gave an overview of the state of research in finance in the international context, providing valuable data for collective reflection.
In addition to the organizational work, the
research group was also represented by Isabel Parra, who participated by presenting a research paper.
