M. Elena Romero-Merino is associate professor of Finance at the University of Burgos. She studied Economics and Business Administration and received her PhD from the University of Valladolid. Her research is published in international journals such as Research Policy, British Journal of Management, Management Decision, Managerial and Decision Economics, or Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Quarterly, among others. Her main research focuses on the corporate governance, financial vulnerability, non-profit organizations, and R&D.
